The colonial leaders were afraid of opposing to taxes, so they did this called the "Stamp Act" which was an agreement in which they stayed to noy buy any product coming from England. In this congress 9 colonies sent their respective delegates to agree. Women played a really important role in this act, they did home-made the products that they may need from British for example they did their own cloth to make clothes.
